Yeshua leads us through the night and storm, He is our lighthouse that brings our ships safely home.
INTRODUCTION
People have traveled by ship forever. It is still one of the ways to travel across the seas. While usually safe many perils can be encountered at sea. And when getting close to the shore a ship can run aground. In those moments a lighthouse must be present. It shows the way to shore, it helps guide them, especially on stormy nights to a safe place. Similarly, Yeshua is our lighthouse - He leads our lost ships back home. He guides us and shows us the way back to God and righteousness.
OUR LIGHTHOUSE
Traveling by ship usually is safe, but we can encounter perils at sea: hitting an iceberg, being attacked, getting stuck in a storm, being set off course, and getting lost at sea. And when nearing the shore, especially at night and through storms, there is always the risk of running aground. In such situations, the importance of lighthouses comes into play. The light they emit, pinpoints to captains that they are nearing the shore and dangerous territory that needs avoiding. They guide ships safely to shore and lead the way so they would be lost no more.
Similarly, Yeshua is our lighthouse. A lighthouse to our souls towards Yahweh and righteousness. He guides us through the storms of life. Lights our paths before us, and shows the danger up ahead. Reveals to us the turns we need to take, and the places where we need to stop and rest. He steadily leads our ships back home and brings us peace in the storm. Yeshua is faithful in bringing us through, no matter how turbulent life becomes. Trust Him and let His light guide you!
CONCLUSION
Lighthouses are meant to guide ships safely to shore, especially on stormy nights. It is no different for our Savior. He leads us through the storms of life and safely brings us home.
