HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: A PRIEST AFTER THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK

A priest with no mother or father, king of Salem (peace) and of righteousness, came to bless Abraham. With Him, He brought bread and wine and blessed Abraham in the name of the Most High. 

Melchizedek prophetically foreshadowed the arrival of the Son of God. In His demeanor he resembled Him greatly as explained in Hebrews 7: 1-3 (NIV).

The High Priest was the middleman when one wanted to go into the presence of God. Men could not go alone. Yeshua became the ultimate, eternal High Priest who intercedes on our behalf with God and, on a daily basis, takes away our sins. 

He performed the ultimate sacrifice once and for all. Now, when we are in Him and repent, our sins are forgiven. And we can continue to go forward to the fulfillment of our destinies.
