HE CAME TO FULFILL - TRIAL AND CRUCIFIXION: ALL HIS BONES

Not one of Messiah’s bones was to be broken; God intended to protect all of them. Sabbath was fast approaching. Soldiers were sent to break the legs of the crucified, among them Yeshua’s. But upon reaching Yeshua they found Him dead already and instead pierced His side with a spear as described in John 19: 31-33 (NIV).

Not one of the bones of the Passover lamb was to be broken. Yeshua was the Passover lamb who was to take away people’s sins. And all occurred in such a way that none of His bones were broken. That was not merely a coincidence; that was the showcase of Abba’s sovereignty. If He has decreed a thing, it shall be. Rest assured, in His hands lies your destiny. Men may plan, but in the end God ordains the steps of men.
