Yeshua was a teacher among all teachers. Scribes were those who taught the law of Moses in His time. The Hebrew word for scribe is sopher, from the root ס־פ־ר (spr)

Moses smeared the blood of the lamb on the doorposts and threshold of their dwelling places. Death did not enter their abodes. Yeshua’s blood was shed similarly.

The message of salvation was not brought only to Israel. Since the beginning of time, it was meant to be brought to all the nations of the world. And so Messiah did.
