ARE YOU ALL IN?

INTRODUCTION

Writing requires a lot of intimacy. We as authors often share our deepest and most intimate thoughts with the rest of the world. Sharing them may impact others. We as Christians can impact on an even greater scale if we become the message we are sharing. We can then transform and not only inform. 

ARE YOU ALL IN?

Elon Musk is all about the mission. His missions or heavenly mandates as he calls them are important to him perhaps even more than family. He demands no less from his workers. He is all about putting everything aside in pursuit of the future of humanity. Something not all necessarily agree with.

This “be all in” attitude reminded me of our heavenly mandate as kingdom ambassadors in Christ Jesus. To walk with the Lord we have to be all in. We have to be willing to leave it all behind in pursuit of our destinies and pursuit of our Heavenly Father. 

During our walk, we may be asked to go all in, even at the expense of having to sacrifice other things. It is a decision we have to make according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If the Lord asked you, would you go all in?

BECOMING THE MESSAGE

Writing is extremely intimate. Every single time we pour out a part of ourselves onto a sheet of paper. As my mentor David Sluka likes to say, “It is like taking your clothes off in front of everyone”. It can make us feel very bare and exposed. But by being vulnerable we can reach others and pull them from the darkness they are in. 

Sharing our story, and our message with the world can achieve so much. But it is by becoming the message that we can do the greater things. Once we not only have an answer to a problem but have also become that answer, that solution, we will be walking miracle workers bringing the Kingdom to the weary, hungry, and thirsty people. We will hold the keys that will open doors. 

THE PROCESS OF BECOMING THE MESSAGE

During the writing process, we will feel perspiration and immense war to get the message out. And even more so to become the message. It will take honesty, readiness, and transparency. It will be a long journey of self-reflection, and healing. 

There will come times when we will feel the desire to quit. In those moments we should pray and take a break. Recharge and we will once more feel inspired to continue. Especially if our why is strong enough. 

As a Christian writer that is what I aspire to achieve every single day. I encourage you to focus on that too. Become the message you wish to share. Believe in the message that you wish to bear. 

CONCLUSION

We all carry a unique message inside of us. Sharing it with the world may change many lives. Becoming the message will not only impact but also transform. It will bring the kingdom of God to the weary, hungry, and thirsty.
