In His Perfect Image
 

GOD promised that the Messiah shall make his Shekinah to dwell in the tabernacles of Shem” (1), and be their descendant. Long was the wait, but it came to pass.

“God is with us”, is the meaning of the name Immanuel. The name by which the Messiah shall go. He will be God, living in the body of a man amidst His people.

The arrival of the Messiah was to usher in a new Kingdom, one once more governed by God Himself. It will be established upon the throne of David, and it was.

True peace without Yeshua is impossible. He literally is our Peace. It is His perfect love that casts out all fear. And fear is the culprit behind all sin.

Messiah will be full of compassion towards the lost and broken. He will not break them nor crush the little hope yet left in them. Yeshua did so through His works.

Messiah will be meek and humble. He will not cry out or raise His voice, nor will He allow His voice to be heard on the street. He will be gentle to the poor.

Messiah’s zeal for God and the desire to see Him glorified will eat Him up. It will overtake Him and empower Him to be on fire for God. Zealous was Yeshua.

The Messiah will speak nothing but the Truth of God. There will be no deceit in His mouth. And there was no deceit in Yeshua. He was truthful, spoke only the truth.

Messiah was to be merciful, truthful, just, and righteous. Full of mercy for the weary and the brokenhearted, those whose yoke has become too heavy to bear.

Messiah’s faithfulness will last forever. He will never leave us or forsake us. He will steadily guide us and teach us. Yeshua left none behind, and He will never.

Messiah was to and will bring justice to all men with righteous verdicts. He is just. He will release the captives from prison and bring good news to the poor.

Messiah will be called the Lord our righteousness. He will be the only one without blemish. The standard for all mankind to follow. Yeshua became our righteousness.

Messiah was to and will judge with equity. He will not look at outward appearance or status. He will judge all with righteousness and by looking on the heart of men.

Messiah was to condemn some of the leaders of Israel for their hypocrisy. They considered following human rules to be of greater importance than true worship.

The Jews were expectantly waiting for the arrival of Messiah. The old prophecies determined His arrival was to be imminent. Yeshua suddenly arrived at the temple.

Messiah was to reach up to the neck. The term "He shall reach up to the neck" is a Hebrew idiom for the head, the leader. The leader of Judah was to be the Messiah.

Messiah was to be known as the BRANCH, God’s servant. He was to be the King of Kings, yet also the greatest servant of Yahweh. That is who He was to be and is. 

Messiah was to be in charge of the angels, and they were to obey Him. They were to be at His command, protect Him, and do His bidding. Yeshua was confronted by satan regading this very claim as written in Luke 4: 1-2, 9-13 (NIV).The only way to defeat satan is with the Word of God. Messiah was to be the elected one. The one who would bring forth justice to all the nations and the gentiles. The Spirit of God would be upon Him. Yeshua was.

Messiah was to be presented to Israel as their King and God in Jerusalem. It was to be proclaimed for all to hear and see. Yeshua was declared as the Lamb of God.
