Messiah was to be known as the BRANCH, God’s servant. He was to be the King of Kings, yet also the greatest servant of Yahweh. That is who He was to be and is.
It was through His obedience and servitude to Yahweh that Yeshua did great deeds and accomplished great feats. Despite being God, He humbled Himself and done upon Himself the garment of servitude as described in Philippians 2: 5-8.

Yeshua, though He was the King of all Kings, served others with great zeal. He served them even more than He probably taught. Israel’s messenger in His blog post Messiah as the Branch mentions that God is looking for servants and not a great man.
Although it may seem counterintuitive, especially to the Western mind, the blessings of God come to those who are servants. God is not looking for great leaders, people of renown and intellect, or physically blessed athletes to advance His kingdom and cause. God is looking for servants. (1)
We are to serve; that is what we were created for. To serve and love each other to the best of our abilities. To mirror Yeshua in how He served others. To work towards becoming more in likeness to Him each day. It is through serving others that we are fulfilling our destinies. Ultimately, our destinies are not about us, but how we can serve others.
