GOD promised that the Messiah shall make his Shekinah to dwell in the tabernacles of Shem” (1). He was to come from the descendants of Shem. Long was the wait, but as it is with all true prophecy, it came to pass. (1)
Yeshua, a descendant of Shem (Luke 3: 36; NIV) and David, was born. For 33 years, He dwelt with His people until His ministry was cut short.

In the article (Gen. 9:26-27) Does this predict that the Messiah would come from the Semitic people (i.e. the descendants of Shem)? located on the website Evidence Unseen, they had the following to say about Yeshua dwelling among us.
The Temple was replaced by God dwelling in human flesh through Jesus. John writes, “And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us…” (Jn. 1:14). Literally, the Greek reads, “He built his tent among us.” (1)
Yeshua came in the body of a human and dwelt among men until He was crucified. But done was God not. Rose He again from the dead. Now He lives on the inside of all His believers. We are never truly alone; we have Him by our side during every storm. And He equips and teaches and guides, and brings us victory, and to our enemies he brings demise.
