HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: UPON THE THRONE OF DAVID

The arrival of the Messiah was to usher in a new Kingdom, one once more governed by God Almighty Himself. It will be established upon the throne of David as confirmed in Luke 1: 33 (NIV). 

Upon the throne of David was Yeshua's kingdom established. David was promised that His descendants would rule for all eternity, or rather that one day one would be born who would. Yeshua is that seed which will rule over all the nations upon the throne of David.

There are different thrones in Heaven. There is the Throne of Mercy, the Throne of God, and then there are the 24 Thrones of the Elders. It is also worth mentioning the promise given that all who overcome will sit with Christ on His Throne. Actually, some already are. Those who overcome the pull of the flesh, emotions of the natural, and are in alignment with God's will are already seated with Christ in Heaven. (1)

It doesn’t matter what others think of us or how they treat us. The only opinion, or rather judgment, that will matter in the end will be that of our Heavenly Father. We are already seated with Christ Jesus and all His glory. Drawing our worth and identity from others is idolatry anyway. We should always look to God as the source of information regarding who we are.
