“God is with us”, is the meaning of the name Immanuel. The name by which the Messiah shall go. He will be God, living in the body of a man, residing amidst His people.
The word became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1: 14). Yeshua was born as fully human and fully divine as written in Matthew 1: 18-23 (NIV).

God came to dwell with us in a human body. Only He was capable of saving humanity. So He became flesh to condemn and defeat flesh.
Messiah had to be fully human and fully God at the same time. Only a human, a kinsman, could redeem a fellow human. And at the same time, only a sinless being could save all humanity.
So Messiah had to be fully human and fully divine at the same time. Now He dwells with men as had been prophesied. He dwells with men on the inside of all believers until He returns. We have Abba with us always. Wherever we go, the Kingdom of the Most High is there with us. Actually, everywhere we step, we bring the Kingdom of the Most High with us. We bring the light to chase away the darkness.
