HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: IN MERCY

Messiah was to be and will be merciful, truthful, just, and righteous. Full of mercy for the weary and the brokenhearted. The ones whose yoke has become too heavy to bear. Merciful to those who were bound by their own blindness, deafness, muteness, and sinfulness. Mercy is what He desired - mercy and not sacrifice - as proclaimed in Matthew 9: 13 (NIV).

Merciful is our Father. When we were still sinners, He forgave us our sins. As Yeshua showed the world the character of God, so are we to show the character of Yeshua. Through following His ways and teachings, we are showing the world what He was like. 

We are called to extend mercy as His beloved sons and daughters. To forgive and cover the transgressions of other men. To intercede on behalf of others. For blessed are the peacemakers. And those who forgive will be forgiven.
