HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: THE HYPOCRISY

Messiah was to condemn some of the leaders of Israel for their hypocrisy, for their shallow worship of Yahweh. Some of them considered following human rules to be of greater importance than the true worship of Yahweh in truth and spirit. Their hearts were far from Yah.
Yahweh said Himself in Ezekiel 33: 11: “Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?”
Some of them based their judgments on outward appearances, on the religious following of the commandments, and added to the letter of the law their rules. Rules that they themselves were not willing to uphold and follow behind closed doors, yet expected others to do so.
Their worship was from a prideful heart and not a pure one. They did not understand their role as priests of the Most High. They were to intercede for people before God and judge according to the will of God.
Yeshua recognized their hypocrisy and called them out on it in Matthew 15: 7-9 (NIV).

Unlike them, Yeshua judged based on the heart (1 Samuel 16: 7). Those who were aware of their sins and wished to change were those He was sent to heal and deliver. Those who thought they were saved by their works ended up being the ones who were judged the harshest.
We are to judge man according to the will of God and His word. We are not to judge according to our opinions. Yeshua said in John 7: 24 (NIV), “24 Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.”
Also, we are to separate the sin from the sinner. We judge and hate the sin, yet bless and love the sinner. (1)
Love is the key. Compassion, kindness towards the person, but hatred towards the sin. For God loves the sinner, but hates the sin.
