NO DECEIT

The Messiah will speak nothing but the Truth of God. There will be no deceit in His mouth. And there was no deceit in Yeshua. He was truthful. He spoke nothing but the Truth of God as confirmed in 1 Peter 2: 22 (NIV).

Yeshua was sinless, a man without deceit. He was honest and direct. He felt no need to defend Himself. He was God Himself at the end of the day.
Even though he was godly and a good person, some tried to trap Him with their questions. They wanted Him to misspeak and to misrepresent God. Then they could accuse Him before the courts, and He would be condemned.
Yeshua was not so easily deceived. He avoided all their traps and remained without sin. Now, all they were left with was falsely accusing Him. And their rebellion against God, their pride, went so deep that they were willing to do all so that people would reject Him, as they rejected Him.
But still, what they thought would make others abandon their faith and choose not to follow Him, that same act ended up endearing Him to us even more. The truth is what we are called to speak forth on behalf of our Father and battle against the false narratives of this world.
