INTRODUCTION
The sun, moon, and stars were created on the fourth day. Their purpose was to separate light (day) from darkness (night). They also were to give light and serve as a sign to mark sacred times. Yeshua came upon Earth to shed light upon the true character of God. He came to bring light to darkness, so darkness would be no more and He came as a sign of the Kingdom of God approaching. He distinguished right from wrong and in so governed between day and night. He revealed things hidden from the people and pronounced the complete eradication of darkness upon the arrival of His Kingdom. There night would be no more. He would shine for us for all eternity.
THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
Lights were created on the fourth day. First, the sun and moon were created, then the stars. They were intended to serve as signs to mark sacred times (the Moedim, but also to give light and to separate light from darkness. They were designed to lead people in truth and according to the will of Yahweh. To lead them to worship the creator of all.
Sadly some fell. They rebelled against Yahweh and desired to become Him. To become gods instead of Him. Then others copulated with human women and produced the Nephilim - a cross-species so wicked in the hearts, that even Yahweh could not find anything redeemable in them. They led humans astray, thought humans to hate each other, and all sorts of magic.
Yeshua was a star too. His purpose was one of immense importance. He came to once more reveal the true nature of Yahweh to the world and to lead them to worship the one true Creator once more. To show to them right from wrong, and to reach with His light people governed and emersed in darkness.
When Adam and Eve initially sinned, authority was passed from Adam to satan. Satan now had legal grounds and authority on Earth to establish His Kingdom of death, destruction, and decay. But that came to an end. Yeshua came to reveal the approaching Kingdom of Yahweh that was sealed by the shedding of His blood. When He rose back from the dead, satan and other fallen angels lost their authority on Earth. All authority was given to Yeshua, and He gave it to His disciples.
And now we are waiting for His second coming and the establishment of His Kingdom here on Earth. With His second arrival, the light - people faithful unto the Lord - will be separated from darkness - unsaved people and the evil spirits, demons, and evil principalities. Darkness will be dealt with away for good on the day of Judgment with the creation of new heavens and earth. There night will be no more.

CONCLUSION
Yeshua is the light of the world. He came to shed light on the real character of Yahweh. To bring light to people encompassed and governed by darkness and to distinguish between right and wrong. He came as a sign of the approaching Eternal Kingdom, in which all darkness shall be removed and cast in the lake of fire.
Application
Thank you Heavenly Father for restoring our authority. Thank you for bringing back light into the world. Thank you for defeating darkness once and for all. Abba I pray, let Your Kingdom come, let Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
