And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
(Isaiah 22:22)
INTRODUCTION
As God is not static, neither is life. Failure, rejection, maybe even delay. All of it is part of everyday life. Doors may be closed shut in our faces. Our streams of income may be put on hold. But if we are in Yeshua, He will open a door of opportunity for us that no one will be able to shut. He will provide us with that new job or source of income. And none will be able to prevent it.
THE KEYS TO THE HOUSE OF DAVID
There are different seasons in life. Our jobs of today, may not necessarily be our jobs of tomorrow. Opportunities may come and go and doors may be opened and closed. Sometimes we may even fall prey to unjust treatment, sabotage, and so on.
But worry we need not nor should we. God says in Jeremiah 29: 17, “11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” God knows the plans that He has for us. Even if doors get shut in our faces, we can rest assured that God is at work. There is a door He will open that no one will ever be able to shut. A door designed specifically for us to walk through.
Something that only we can accomplish and fulfill. And no one will be able to block us or take it away. Not even the enemy of our souls. God is our Provider and He will open that door. And it will happen at His perfect timing too.
Likewise, there are doors that the Son of Man can shut that no one can ever open again either. Doors, like different cities and jobs, relationships that serve us no longer. God is not static, He is the God of movement and growth. And just like that He may call us out and into something different.
CONCLUSION
Life can be full of surprises. Rejection on one hand, loss of a job on another. Doors are opened, and others are sealed shut. But no matter what is going on, we can be at peace for our God will provide for us. He will open a door, and no one will be able to shut it. And He may also close a door, which none will be able to open for He has

Abba, I trust you fully. Let Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven regarding my life, my job, my home, my relationships, regarding it all. Guide my steps, lead the way, and show me where you are taking me this season to stay.
