Through Israel, God was to make His salvation known and brought to all the nations. They were God’s vineyard. Their initial failure to recognize Yeshua was all part of the grand plan. As a result, salvation was spread to the nations by His faithful few who believed. They began the process.

God planted and nurtured Israel. As part of the plan, they initially rejected the Messiah. Salvation was spread throughout the nations. The success of the gentile converts was supposed to spark jealousy in the unfaithful sons of Israel. It was all a plan to bring Israel back to their original faithfulness and worship, and also redeem all other men.
The fruit that brings salvation is faith in Yeshua Messiah and no other. That is the fruit of righteousness God has been looking for since the beginning. In the Old Testament, it was the faith in the arrival of the Messiah, and in the New Testament, it is the faith in Jesus Christ, Yeshua HaMaschiach, the fulfillment of all the law. Faith is the fruit looked for. It is also the work we are called to do (John 6:29). Though Israel rejected their Messiah before, they are not forsaken. Israel’s time is now to come.
