HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: NEW COVENANT

Messiah was to make a new covenant in His blood. He was to usher in a new era. And so Yeshua’s blood was shed for the salvation of all as stated in Matthew 26: 28 (NIV).

In the old covenant, one's sins could be temporarily covered by the blood of an animal sacrifice. But under the new covenant, sins are now to be eradicated. They are removed. Yeshua’s blood was enough to remove sin from us once and for all. 

The real reason why God sent Yeshua the first time is so that all people who would believe could be saved. If he had just come to eradicate us, none of us would have lived. But this way He made a way for those who would believe in the finished work of Yeshua on the cross, choose to obey and worship Him. Our sins are removed from us and forgotten if we confess them and repent. Through Yeshua’s blood, the penalty has been paid for already.
