HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: ONLY BLOOD CAN ATONE

Only blood can atone for the life of another. In the old covenant, sin was forgiven through the shedding of the blood of animals. In the new it was Yeshua’s blood that was shed so that through his resurrection we too would pass from death to life as stated in 1 John 3: 14-18 (NIV).

Only by the blood in which life resides can our sins be forgiven. In the old covenant, it was done through animal blood. The new covenant was established, and the sins were forgiven once and for all through the shedding of the Messiah’s blood. Only by his blood are we forgiven. Only by his blood do we get to be saved and participate in eternal life and the new blood covenant established. Everything we need is provided through that new blood covenant. It can only be activated if we have faith in the finished work of Yeshua.
