HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: REJECTED BY MEN

Messiah was to be rejected by men. Thrown away as nothing but the dirt they were to walk upon. He was to be scorned. mocked and forsaken.

Oh, how troublesome that dark hour must have been for our Messiah. There on the cross He suffered immense pain for the same people who choose a criminal instead of Him as mentioned in Matthew 27: 21-22 (NIV). 

Despite His love, all the healing and deliverance, people still rejected Yeshua. They do so even to this day. Actually, all of us do when we sin. To reject such a gift is beyond some; it is incomprehensible. But we are all still a work in progress. 

Many times, because they reject Yeshua, they reject us as well, for they notice His Spirit in us. Rejection can be horrible to handle. It can be devastating. We all desire to be approved. To be accepted and loved. To know deep down that we are loved and worthy of that love. And that is why it is so much more awesome to know what Yeshua did for us. He redeemed us through His blood and has given us perfect peace. We have His Shalom.

Because of Him, now I know that even if rejected by men, before God I stand as approved, qualified, and accepted. And that is all we need to know. We just need to be a voice, not necessarily approved by men, nor followed by them. We just need to be a voice, a voice of God’s goodness and truth.
