HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: THE FORERUNNER

Before Messiah arrives, a forerunner will be sent to prepare His way. That forerunner came in the shape of a man known for eating grasshoppers and wild honey. A “wildman,” according to the Israelites. And his name? John the Baptist - that is who I am speaking of. 

He was the forerunner, the voice who called people to repentance as said in John 1: 19-23 (NIV). 

He prepared the hearts of men for the message of Yeshua. That is all it takes – a heart of repentance. When one really wants to turn from their old ways, God can do even the impossible.  

But without true repentance, there comes no salvation. No true change can come if we are not willing. And once change actually takes place, we become fruitful. We produce a good harvest.

We are called to lead people to repentance and to spread the good news of the gospel to them. Let us become faithful in that.
