HE CAME TO FULFILL - NATIVITY: THE SEED OF THE WOMAN

PROPHECY

PROPHECY 1

A pristine river is running steadily separating into 4 streams. They go their separate ways, weaving through the foliage and trees. A beautiful garden they water, one with plenty of food and trees. Eden it is called, and it houses Adam and Eve, the first of mankind created by the Creator of all.

Adam and Eve were living in peace and harmony. There in Eden they could walk with the Creator of all in fellowship. All they knew was pure. They knew no evil.

A dark being, though - the nahash - known more commonly as the serpent, snake, or satan, took matters into his own hands. Driven by jealousy he planned a scheme. A masterful plan to deceive the beautiful new creations. And his target was our beloved Eve.

The initial sin that followed marked the fall of mankind and introduced death to all creation on the very earth it was designed to have dominion over. Cursed was the land Adam worked upon, and Eve was given a role in subjection to her husband. They were evicted from Eden so they could eat of the tree of life no more.

But the ever-righteous and merciful God whom we know had not said His last word nor taken His last breath. The serpent, too, was cursed. And that was not all, its imminent defeat prophesied was. A future seed of none other than the very woman it deceived would defeat it once and for all. But for that to take place, it would have to first be planted in the ground.

That seed happened to be none other than Yeshua, the dragon slayer, as seen in Luke 1: 35 (NIV). (1)

FULFILLMENT 1

You know, for a seed to bear fruit, the soil needs to be properly prepared. It needs to be good. My brothers in Christ at Raising Royalty say that we only need to focus on the soil, and the seed will take care of itself.

From the parable of the sower, we can see that if the soil is not good, the seed will not bear fruit. It will not be able to go deep into the soil and properly get germanised.

When it comes to the promises of God, it is similar. The soil of our hearts needs to be well prepared, good for the seed to go deep enough to produce good fruit. So when given a promise of any kind, let us focus on making the soil of our hearts good enough so we will be a true witness.
