HE CAME TO FULFILL - PERSECUTION: THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER

PROPHECY 202

Messiah was to be betrayed by a friend for 30 pieces of silver. That is all it took for the sinless soul of the Messiah to have been sold.

Judah took 30 pieces of silver in return for delivering Yeshua to the authorities which is explained in more detail in Matthew 26: 14-16 (NIV).

FULFILLMENT 202

30 pieces of silver is all they thought Yeshua was worth. That is how much a soul was considered valuable in their eyes. Actually, that is how much a slave was valued at. So little value did they place on life in general, and especially on the life of the God above all Gods.

The very essence and giver of life, they rejected. The very being that created them. To them, those pieces of silver meant so much, but they will not be able to take them into the afterlife. As naked as we came, we will also return.

All the riches on Earth do not matter; the only thing that will matter is the riches we managed to accumulate in Heaven. Every time we do a good deed, and the person can not pay us back, it is deposited in Heaven. One day, we will see a return on it with interest.

As is stated, the love of money is the source of all evil. It was no different with Judah the betrayer. A thief he was - he stole from Yeshua's treasure regularly - and in the end, His love of money became His doom.
