HE CAME TO FULFILL - TRIAL AND CRUCIFIXION: ACCURSED ON A TREE

Anyone who was killed and hanged on a tree was considered accursed by God. Yeshua became a curse on the tree so that we would be set free from the curse of the law as written in Galatians 3: 10-13 (NIV).

Deuteronomy 21:22-23 states that anyone who was hanged on a tree was accursed by God. Yeshua was crucified on the cross. The cross symbolizes a tree. He became a curse so that our sins would be forgiven and so that we would be set free. Now we can receive everlasting life instead of death.
