HE CAME TO FULFILL - TRIAL AND CRUCIFIXION: DESPISED

Messiah was to be despised by men and looked down upon. Rejected by all humankind. Mockery, persecution, beatings, and despise Yeshua endured as written in Mark 13: 13 (NIV).

Not only was Messiah looked down upon and despised by men at His crucifixion. He is despised and looked down upon even nowadays. When people mention His name, it has a polarizing effect: they either revere Him or despise Him.
The hatred some hold for Him stems from their false image of Abba. Even we believers sometimes feel angry with God. We may still believe that He does not love us or wishes to bless us. Yet that is the furthest from the truth. He wishes for us to be saved, blessed, and empowered to fulfill our destiny. He wishes us happiness, too. And most importantly, He loves us.
