HE CAME TO FULFILL - TRIAL AND CRUCIFIXION: MARRED

So heavily they shall mar the Messiah, He shall be unrecognizable as a result. After all the abuse Yeshua endured, He was left beyond recognition. So heavily they marred and beat on Him, His visage was beyond human likeness as mentioned in Matthew 26: 67 (NIV). 

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Though horribly marred beyond recognition, Yeshua’s sacrifice is considered nothing less than the most beautiful act one has ever done for anyone. Even if He came in that disfigured shape today, to us He would be the most beautiful sight to see. And so was He in the eyes of our Heavenly Father.
