The sin offering for all humankind shall be sacrificed outside the camp. Though Yeshua was arrested and scourged inside Jerusalem, He was taken outside onto a hill called Golgotha for crucifixion. There the sin offering was made as detailed in Matthew 27: 33-35 (NIV).

Sin is an abomination. None of us would have been spared. But God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son, and allowed Him to become a reproach Himself to eradicate it. Yeshua became sin itself, so that whosoever believeth in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.
In the Old Testament, sin had to be removed from the camp. As a prophetic fulfillment, Yeshua died outside the camp to deal away with sin permanently.
