HE CAME TO FULFILL - TRIAL AND CRUCIFIXION: PARTED THEY HIS GARMENT

The soldiers divided His clothes and cast lots for His garment. So beautiful was Yeshua’s garment that even the soldiers did not want to tear it apart. It would have been a waste. Instead, they cast lots to see who would gain it as written in Matthew 27: 35 (NIV). 

While the meaning of the required garment is not specified, garments and robes elsewhere in the scriptures often symbolized righteousness and purity. (1) 

For us Christians, possessing a garment is the symbol of being "covered" in Christ's righteousness (being saved), while the degree of cleanliness of the garment reflects the person's witness by good works. (2) 

We are clothed in Christ’s righteousness. It is by faith, not by works. We, on our own, can not obtain the standard to enter eternal life. The good news is we do not have to. Yeshua won it for us. Now we only need to step into His victory and fulfill our destiny.
