HE CAME TO FULFILL - TRIAL AND CRUCIFIXION: RAISED BY THE LORD

PROPHECY 240

Messiah was to be mocked for believing that God would deliver Him. Mocked for delighting in the Lord.

Yeshua could have taken matters into His own hands. He could have saved Himself from the wrath He was enduring. But the Lord’s will was that He took the cup and suffered for the sins of many. Mockery and ridicule were all He heard when on the cross, as written in Matthew 27: 43 (NIV). But, after enduring the cross, God raised Yeshua back from the dead and gave Him all authority in Heaven and on Earth.

FULFILLMENT 240

Mathew 16: 24-25 records the following words of Yeshua:

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25 For whoever would save his life[a] will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Matthew 16: 24-25 (NIV)

If we want to follow Yeshua, we will need to set aside our plans and desires that do not align with His plans for our lives. We ourselves may need to drink a cup of our own. Daily, we will need to pick up our cross and follow in the footsteps of our Creator, the God of love. For that is the Spirit we have been created in.

Sometimes we will be asked to endure, and at other times God will bring us to safety. Whatever the case, we are destined and designed to overcome and come out as victors. Go and succeed.
