HE CAME TO FULFILL - TRIAL AND CRUCIFIXION: RAPTURED HEART

Messiah’s heart was to be turned to wax, melted within Him. He was to die of a ruptured heart. 

The death of Yeshua was finalized with the rupturing of His heart, as stated in John 19:34 (NIV).

The excruciating death by crucifixion causes suffocation by exhaustion. All crucifixion victims died of a failed heart and collapsing lungs. Water forms inside the lungs and heart. It becomes unbearably painful to breathe with each breath one takes. It is by far one of the worst ways to die. Agonizingly painful and slow. 

Yeshua mercifully died quite soon after being nailed to the cross. Even the soldiers were surprised. But as others, He suffered the same fate, which the piercing of His heart confirmed when water mixed with blood spilled forth. 

Such a sacrifice. No greater could there ever have been made. Let us remember it each day and be as selfless as we can.
