THE FLOWERY WORLD

Walking amid a thousand blooms,
through the grand, flowery rooms,
are the petite feet of a woman of age,
approaching a group ready to engage.
A beautiful soul who wanted the world to see,
Yet circumstances for a season robbed her of her glee.
She had lost sight, she had gone blind,
hope she could no longer find.
She chose to withdraw,
to shut herself in,
to let this her light dim.
Her husband had other plans, though.
He began to sow, and sow.
A garden of flowers for his love,
for his beloved dove.
The scent of the flowers drew her outside,
It drew her once more into the light,
the world she could travel not,
so it was to her brought.
