INTRODUCTION
Satan never sleeps,
neither should we.
On guard, we should remain,
guarding our hearts diligently.
Accusations are hurled our way,
“Who do you think you are?
‘A child of God’ you say?
Redeemed and saved by His grace today?
The old you, they expect,
the new you, they have not yet met.
But redeemed and saved you truly are,
put on the helmet of salvation
so that for their lies you do not fall.
PUT ON THE HELMET OF SALVATION
Yeshua died for the sins of all who will receive Him as the savior. Once we believe that He has died for our sins and proclaim Him as Lord and Savior in our lives, we are redeemed back unto God and receive salvation.
But though saved we have instantly been, sin we still usually deal with every single day. For our spirits have been instantly reborn, but our soul needs to be renewed each day.
Satan loves to accuse us in front of God’s throne. All the sins that still manifest in our lives even after receiving Yeshua as our savior he throws in our faces daily. But our salvation is by faith, not by works (Ephesians 2: 8-9). We have not earned it, and we could never do anything to keep it. It is a gift of God to us all.
In Romans 8: 38-39 it is written, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
We were bought by Yeshua’s blood. His blood cleanses us of all our sins and filth every day. “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”, says Lamentations 3: 22-23 (NIV).
But for satan’s accusations to not get to us, we need to put on the helmet of salvation. It reminds us each day that we are saved, delivered, and redeemed. Though we are not on our own in any way righteous, we have now become righteousness unto God through the finished work of Yeshua on the cross.

HELMET OF SALVATION!
CONCLUSION
Saved we have been by Yeshua. Instantly our spirits have been reborn. But our souls still need renewing every day, and so many times sin still may manifest in our lives. Satan loves to use that against us. Before God’s throne, He accuses us each day. But nothing could ever again separate us from God’s love and mercy. By Yeshua’s blood, we are cleansed and delivered from sin and filth every day anew. So put on the helmet of salvation to silence his accusations.
Application
Thank you Father for saving us. We repent for our sins and ask you to cleanse us and our bloodlines of all filthiness and any legal standings satan may claim he has against us. Let the blood of the lamb speak in our defense. Though sinners we were you have redeemed us. We now put the helmet of salvation upon our heads. Your salvation is a gift to us; we have never earned it and we can never lose it, unless we choose to walk away from thee permanently Thank you Father, for loving us so!
