HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: HIGH PRIEST

In ancient Israel, when one sinned, they brought an animal to the temple. The priest sacrificed it and took the blood of the sin offering and brought it into the Holy place to make atonement for it.

Yeshua entered into the Holy place with His own blood once and for all as the High priest to make atonement for the sins of us all as mentioned in Hebrews 9: 7-12 (NIV).

In 1 Thessalonians 5: 2 Yeshua said, “For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.”

The expression “thief in the night” was used to describe the High Priest in Jerusalem. Yeshua is the HIGH PRIEST who once and for all made atonement for the sins of all humanity. His ultimate sacrifice secured forgiveness for us all and eternal life. 

Faith in His finished work on the cross opens us up for the renewal of our minds daily. It opens us up for true heart transformation. From a transformed heart, rivers of living water flow and produce good fruit. It brings forth overwhelming victory in the face of tests, trials, tribulations, and adversity.
