HE CAME TO FUFLILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: KINGS SHALL SHUT THEIR MOUTHS

The mouths of kings were to be closed in astonishment at the teachings of the Messiah. Astonishment did occur many times with Yeshua. The religious and political leaders were left astounded on numerous occasions, among which happened to be the dilemma regarding paying taxes to Ceaser.  

They were astounded by His doctrine and His claim of being God. And in the end, they were astounded by His refusal to defend Himself, as can be read in John 19: 10-11 (NIV). 

Herod, Caiaphas, and Pilate all knew Yeshua was innocent yet chose not to save Him and crucified Him instead. In reward, all of them lost their jobs soon after Yeshua’s crucifixion and died not long after. 

Yeshua, on the other hand, was resurrected back to life. All the while, he was sovereign over all that took place. And if we ever face such terrible situations, we can rest assured that Abba will vindicate us and redeem what was lost. Ultimately, He is the sovereign authority above all, and our destinies are firmly in His hands. It is already sealed and secured. All that we need is faith and obedience to the Lord.
