Messiah was to pour the Spirit of Supplication, the Spirit of Prayer, upon Jerusalem. The House of the Most High was always meant to be a House of prayer. A place where one connects with God in prayer. A place of consecration and true worship. Yeshua was zealous for the ways of the Most High. He wanted that holiness to be restored, as can be seen in Mark 11: 17 (NIV). (1)

Prayer was an important part of Yeshua’s life. He was devoted unlike any. And likewise, His relationship with the Father was unparalleled. His prayer life was rich and deep. His prayers tended to be short and to the point, yet so powerful and potent. The Lord’s prayer He gave us was meant to be an example, a sort of format for how the prayer should look.
Prayer is conversing with Abba. It is a private conversation with the Lord. It is all about connecting with God and remaining in His presence and praying forth into manifestation that which God has decreed in His Heavenly Courts. It is all about partnering with Yahweh as co-laborers.
