HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: A GREAT LIGHT

It was in the darkness of the land of Galilee that the Messiah’s ministry was to begin. There, the people of Galilee were to see a great light - the Light of God. And so it came to be when Yeshua went and lived in Capernaum by the lake as stated in Matthew 4: 12-19 (NIV). 

A great light came to dwell in Capernaum - Yeshua Himself. He is our Light that shines upon our paths and illuminates the right one to walk upon. He gives us wisdom on which one to follow and which one not to. 

He also reveals to us things hidden in the dark of our hearts. Just like a light reveals to us what is hidden in one room after we switch it on, so does the word of God. His light reveals our thoughts and emotions toward certain individuals and circumstances. And not because He wishes to condemn, but because He wishes to eliminate. 

If we go to the light, the light can eliminate the darkness. It can eradicate the lies and strongholds hidden deep within. But oh, how the darkness wishes to hide. So many shy away from the emotions hidden inside. When instead we need to bring it to God, our Light. So He can share His wisdom with us. Remove the lies and forgive us of our sins. He is the only one who can remove those lies. No one else can. Go to the light, let Him remove the darkness. And let Him turn it into light.
