HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: A PROPHET LIKE MOSES

The Messiah was to be a prophet like Moses, save Israel like Moses did, be God's spokesman in delivering Israel from Egypt, and showcase to the world, to Pharaoh the Most High's true power. Yeshua happened to be just that, as John 6: 14 (NIV) states. 

Yeshua had much in common with Moses. Both were nearly killed soon after birth, and both delivered Israel from Egypt. Also, Moses was made as God unto Egypt while Yeshua is God. Then, last but not least, both wandered in the desert as part of their ministry. Many of what they did happened to be prophetic acts. Through their deeds, through their sufferings, they prophesied what was to come. And nothing they spoke ever fell on the ground. 

Since we are filled with the Holy Spirit, we too are able to prophecy and do prophetic acts. For it is the Holy Spirit in us that gives us the gift. Through these gifts, we are then one step closer to fulfilling our destiny. They equip and assist us with what we need.
