HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: ISRAEL'S BLINDNESS

Messiah was not to be recognized by Israel. As with many other prophets, He was to be rejected and killed. Israel's blindness led to history repeating itself once more when Yeshua was announced in Jerusalem.

The leadership of Israel failed to see Yeshua as the Messiah. They wanted a warrior who would lead them into battle against the Romans. They were not expecting a meek and kind, gentle person who called for submission instead. He called for loving the enemies even when they are cursing you.
Spiritually, they were blind. Not able to see into the spirit realm and perceive what was truly taking place. They could not recognize the works of the Father performed through Yeshua. Perhaps once more, they were looking at the vessel and not seeing the Source of the Power behind it.
At the end of the day, we are not the ones who heal, do miracles, set free, or restore sight to the blind; we are merely the vessel. Abba, or rather the Holy Spirit in us, is the One who heals and does miraculous things. If we focus too much on ourselves, the anointing stops flowing. On the other hand, if we focus on the Source of all, the anointing flows freely and even greater things we shall do.
