Messiah was to be revealed at Jerusalem. Daughter Jerusalem was to rejoice at His arrival. That is how it was to be. That is how the Most High willed it to be. Humbly on a donkey, He was to come. Yet righteous and victorious, He was to be.
Yeshua’s arrival to Jerusalem is described in detail in Matthew 21: 8-11 (NIV).

Multiple times, Yeshua’s disciples asked Him if they were going to Jerusalem next. And the answer was always no. "It is not my time yet", he said. Have you ever felt like that, too? There was this awesome opportunity, and still, you just felt it in your heart that it is not where you were called to be in that specific season?
Discerning the times and seasons is vital. Yeshua knew it was not yet His time, so He did not go to Jerusalem. He went further in His walk with the Lord, fulfilling all the prophecies spoken about Him. And then one day, He said, they were to go. And they did. It was time.
Sometimes we are prayed for, and nothing changes. Sometimes we receive a word, and all is the same. It is not just about faith; it also has to be the correct time. It has to be that perfect time. And sometimes healing and deliverance take time to come to fruition.
That does not mean nothing is changing. In the spiritual realm, things are changing with every one of our prayers, yet many times it can not be seen by our naked eyes. Persevere, keep on praying. You never know, perhaps it is right around this time tomorrow that you will hold that promise you have been hoping for.
