HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: OPENED EYES

“Open the eyes of my heart,” they sing in one of the most iconic worship songs ever created. The eyes of our hearts that gaze upon the Lord and all people. If the eyes are blinded by hatred, envy, bitterness, and so forth, then the image they are trying to gaze at is marred and distorted. 

Messiah was to come to restore sight to the blind, so that they would once more be able to see God. See Him as He truly is, and also see others as God sees them. The rough ways were made smooth again, and all flesh got to see salvation once Yeshua was born, as stated in Luke 3: 5-6 (KJV). Eyes were opened, and love was rekindled. Love towards God and one another. 

Yeshua showed us God’s character, His love, mercy, His amazing power, and wisdom. He was gentle and meek, yet just and righteous in His judgments. Just as God is with all His creation. 

He has opened our spiritual eyes. Showed us His love. Now we can see the world and other people as God sees them. We can see what truly matters in life. And we can see our purpose here on Earth. Opened eyes see the Father and what He is doing and follow in His footsteps.
