HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: RIDING ON A DONKEY

Messiah was to enter Jerusalem riding on a donkey. A proclamation that in peace He will come and not in order to war. Yeshua indeed entered Jerusalem on a donkey as described in Matthew 21: 1-5 (NIV). 

When a King was entering a city, and His purpose was to conquer, he always rode on the back of a great white stallion. When he was coming in peace, he rode on a humble donkey. 

Yeshua came in the fulfillment of Daniel’s prophecy and proclaimed the time when men can make peace with God by experiencing the forgiveness of their sin. Yeshua avoided announcing Himself as Messiah precisely so that this prophecy would be fulfilled. He has redeemed us back to God, and our sins are forgiven. The curse of death was lifted. No more are we bound, but free to prosper and achieve our purpose for His glory.
