HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: THE BREAD OF LIFE

Miraculously, in the desert of nothingness, Abba provided His chosen ones with Manna. The bread of angels. It filled their present physical needs. But that is not all it was intended to do. It was intended to fill their spiritual ones, too.

For forty years, Israel wandered the desert. Their clothes did not fall apart, and they were always well-fed and well-watered. It was all miraculous. A testimony of Yahweh’s goodness and greatness.

And He did not stop there. Many other miracles He performed even afterwards. And the greatest was yet to come — the arrival of the Messiah. The one who would set jews free. The one who would feed them with spiritual manna. And that happened to be none other than Yeshua as He claimed Himself in John 6: 35 (NIV). (1)

Yeshua is the Bread of Life. He is our fresh manna in the desert. Our fresh revelation of who we are, what season we are in, and who God is. He gives us life and provides us with the strength necessary to overcome. Scripture states the following in Matthew 4: 4 (NIV), “Jesus answered, "It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."”

As with Gideon and many other great leaders of ancient Israel, Yahweh many times calls that which is not as though it were. He called Gideon, a valiant warrior, though at the time, He was not one yet. 

Many times, He speaks promises to us, too. Those words of the Spirit fill us and sustain us in ways nothing else can. He calls us into our new seasons, into the fulfillment of our new destinies. And His word becoming alive in us is what He is after. That we do not merely preach the message but become the message, become the Word being spoken over us. 

Speak that which is not yet into existence in your life, too, all in accordance with Yahweh Almighty, of course.
