Messiah’s first coming was scheduled for a specific day. It was set in stone and determined firmly. Satan was battling against His fated arrival since the first fall of mankind. Fight though He might, Yahweh remained the sovereign authority above all. As He had predicted at precisely the right time, the Messiah came. Born as a human, Yeshua finally arrived to deliver mankind from certain death as mentioned in Matthew 21: 1-7 (NIV).

Predicted and prophecied it was, and in the end fulfilled. In the Greek translations of the Bible, there are two different words used to describe the will of God. There is the boulema will of God and then the thelema will of God. (1)
The boulema will of God means the unalterable will of God. It is a “set in stone” type of will, where it is 100% certain it will come to pass. Thelema will of God, on the other hand, represents the character, the desire, and the nature of God. It speaks of His wishes. For instance, God wishes that none would perish, that is His will, but we all know some will be lost in the end. (1)
Yeshua’s arrival was set in stone, and it came to pass. It had to come to pass, and so God’s sovereignty was shown in its full glory. Some things in our lives are set in stone, too. They will come to pass no matter what. We need but be patient even if it appears that it is tarrying. For surely it will come to pass.
