HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING AND MINISTRY: YOUR GOD REIGNS

Messiah was to come bearing the good news, “Your God reigns!”. He will proclaim the victory over death and sin. Over sickness and sorrow. Give a message of hope for the heavily burdened and those in captivity. (1)

Through His ministry on Earth, Yeshua brought that message to life. He healed the sick, set free the captives, gave sight to the blind, and so forth. And oh, how glad we can be that His faithful disciples were there to witness it all. They recorded it and spread the good news to all the nations of the world, as stated in Romans 10: 13-15 (NIV).

They became messengers of God themselves. Messengers are people who have been given a message to deliver. A messenger of God has a unique message from God for the world. 

The message can be delivered through the written or spoken word. Sometimes, through music and our excellence in our workplaces. And ultimately through our lifestyles. 

Yeshua was the epitome of a Godly lifestyle. He was fully consecrated to the Lord. He was a messenger whose actions potentially spoke to all humanity even more than His words. His finished work on the cross gave the ultimate message of love God had for all humanity, which has impacted nations, continents, and individuals for generations to come.

And the message remains impactful on people even nowadays. It is full of life. We, too, are now marked as His messages to this dying world. Our testimony, our talents, our good deeds all speak of Him and His goodness to this world. Of what yet is coming, yet is already set in stone.
