HE CAME TO FULFILL - COMMISSIONING ND MINISTRY: MY SHEPHERD

Messiah was to be the shepherd who would lead His people into eternal life. A life that is unfading, long-lasting, and full of peace, joy, and happiness. A life in the presence of the Giver of Life Himself. Yeshua is the good shepherd (John 10: 14-15) who laid down His life for you. He came to become the curse on the cross so that the Kingdom (Luke 12: 32) would be given to me and you.

Shepherds are men who lead sheep while they are grazing on the fields. Symbolically, they represent great man designated to be national leaders who take care of God’s people – flock – and lead them down the right path. To nurture them and direct their steps. Also, to assist them when in need of help. 

Yeshua became such a shepherd who led us towards eternal life. Our eternal life and salvation are secured so long as we remain in Yeshua and follow in His footsteps. He keeps us and protects us. And if necessary leaves behind the 99 just so He could come and fetch us if we get lost. 

He will never lose us as stated in John 10: 27-28 (KJV), “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” We are safe and secure in His hand.
