Messiah shall be a Branch coming forth from David’s line. The Hebrew word for Branch is Netzer. From it, the words Nazareth and Nazarene are derived. This is a play on words, indicating that Messiah shall come forth from Nazareth. It was mentioned multiple times in the Bible. And Luke 2: 1-5 (NIV) confirmed that Yeshua truly was from Nazareth. (1)

He was a Nazarene. He came forth from a place despised and looked down upon. But just as God can choose the least likely person for the job, He can also pick one from the least likely background. It is all by His grace, and it is all so that man can marvel. It is to see and reveal the hearts of men.
And also, the most challenging backgrounds give ground for the mightiest of testimonies. And our testimonies tend to be connected to our calling. For our calling is all about serving others by being a solution to a specific problem.
