The Messiah was to be the son of David and the Son of God. Even King David called Him LORD. He was to be fully human, yet also fully divine. God in human flesh. That is who Messiah was and is. And Yeshua was none other. He was fully human and fully flesh. A descendant of David, as the prophesied Messiah was to be. The Pharisees rejected the notion that He was Messiah as can be seen in Matthew 22: 41-45 (NIV). (1)

They considered His claim to be blasphemy. And still many do. The Messiah needed to come in the shape of a human being. Flesh needed to be put to death, and the Messiah’s body took the burnt for us all.
His flesh was crucified so that all of ours would be put to death. And so God had to be born of a woman from the line of Abraham. And now He resides in us and empowers us to overcome every sin and obstacle in our lives. We are a brand new creation. And with each day, we are to renew our minds to conform them to who we now are.
