“I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near” said Balaam. He prophesied, or rather divined, that the Messiah would be from eternity. That He was and would be. John 1: 1 (NIV) says, “ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Further in John 1: 14 (NIV) it says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” Yeshua was the word of God made flesh as stated in John 8: 58 (NIV).

He is from before the beginning of time - eternal. Time, according to some theories, was created by God when He began creating the world. (1) God the Father gave orders, and the Word carried them out (2)
Everything was created for the Word by the Word. He is God manifest in human form. Fully divine and fully human. That is why He was able to defeat the enemy. Now we are in covenant with Him. We have His spirit living on the inside of us. And it is through Him that His grace is extended towards us. That grace empowers us to overcome and bear good fruit and fulfill that which we were sent on Earth to fulfill.
