HE CAME TO FULFILL - NATIVITY: MULTIPLICATION

Faithful was Abraham. He believed the Lord and followed Him and kept His decrees. And so blessed was he with the promised child Isaac. Faithfulness and obedience bring the favor of God. Hebrews 11: 6 (KJV) says, »But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.«
Abraham believed and so he received. He faithfully nurtured the promise of an heir and saw it come to fruition. And through that promised seed the other part of the promise given to Abraham was fulfilled further down the line. Abraham was promised that His descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky and inherit the land upon which He stood.
Yeshua became that seed through which the covenant spread to many nations and blessed them with everlasting life. His obedience brought new life to a multitude of people as mentioned in Hebrews 11: 17-19 (NIV) (1)

When we are faithful with the little we have, God will give even more. There will be multiplication. Blessing upon blessing will come. Just as it was with Abraham, the one who waited for a descendant eventually received as many as there were stars in the sky.
