From an unlikely source was to come forth the Messiah. Nothing about Him was supposed to attract people to Him or indicate to them who He was. Even His upbringing was not prosperous. Rather out of a dry ground, He shall spring forth. (1)
God speaks in amazing ways to people. Many times, He uses the unlikely to gain people's attention and draw them to the conclusion that surely God must be behind it. God spoke to Israel through Yeshua in many ways. Among them happen to be His birthplace and also the town of His upbringing as stated in Luke 2: 4-7 (NIV). (1)

For all accounts, Yeshua should not have amounted to anything. Nothing good ever came from Nazareth, or so it was believed. Yet Yeshua arose from a place they all rejected and thought of as unfruitful - from dry ground. It was considered very oppressed by the Romans. Many hardships Yeshua must have seen. And through it, great wisdom He learned. And great fruit He birthed for generations to come. (1)
