HE CAME TO FULFILL - NATIVITY: SEVENTY WEEKS

God can speak to us through different things, through numbers, dreams, visions, … The majority of the time he uses symbolic language. Some claim that rarely is everything straightforward, though I am sure some would dispute.  

A period of seventy weeks was determined for Israel to finish her transgressions and until the rebuilding of Jerusalem. And then an additional 62 weeks were appointed before the arrival of the Messiah.

The word weeks used here is in the same context as the word weeks used in the story of Laban and Jacob. One week represents 7 years. The first week started with the command to rebuild Jerusalem, and the 69th one ended with the proclamation of Yeshua as Messiah in Jerusalem right before His crucifixion as can be seen in Luke 13: 34 (NIV). (1)

There is an appointed time for everything. If Yahweh has appointed a time for something, it will come to pass. Once He has decreed a thing, it is finished; it will never return to Him void. If you are waiting on a promise, be patient and grow in character and faith in the meantime. Prepare yourself by practicing your talents and skills.
